To accommodate people who might have a hard time walking and standing in lines, the polling places in DC have curb side voting. Sue was able to stay in the car and the polling place volunteer brought out the ballot to be filled in. It means a great deal to Sue and I'm sure almost everybody this year to be able to vote in this unprecedented historic election. And it is a testament to the system that Sue did not need risk injury or discomfort to be able to vote.
Sue has been feeling much better generally and is back at gentle yoga and aquatic physical therapy. And the pain is much more manageable in her hips. And she is staying up late, especially if she gets her late afternoon nap. Of course, she stayed awake on election night to see the person she voted for that day giving his first speech as president-elect.
