One year ago, Sue Charen died, and I want people to take a moment to remember how wonderful she was. Every day since, I have been reminded by the difference Sue made in my own life. She shared so much joy, love, decency and sage advice with me.
So please take a moment to remember how she made your own life better with her friendship and caring. And smile.
Being the anniversary of her death, I reached out the her doctor to find out about the research. Sue felt very strongly that any knowledge that helped her survive several years more than anyone could have imagined, should be used to help others. The doctor told me that the research is ongoing, and eventually they will have enough samples to give meaningful results.
I keep Sue in my heart. With love, Daniel
Thinking of Sue today and missing her. Thank you for sharing.

So beautifully written, Daniel! I have been reflecting about Sue so much lately.......my heart aches for your loss and my loss of a re-connection with the kind, supportive, loving friend that she was. Sue and I spoke on the phone about 2 weeks before she died....I was worried about my kid's transition into middle school and she said...he'll be fine and to call in a couple of weeks to tell her how great he was doing! She was right...he did and is doing great! I know that Sue is seeing this and smiling. Miss her! Thank you, Daniel, for sharing your love that you have for Sue with her friends and family.
